Community
We support a lot of charites including worldwide charities like WWF, greenpeace and birdlife. We mainly support them by donations and sometimes we let the domestic charities use our hotel facilities free of charge.
Our guests can eat in the Village restaurants and do shopping (local handicrafts, souvenirs, domestic delights) in the Village, local bazaars or City center. They can go to the village or city center by using a taxi or public transport.
We support local organic farming by buying the whole fresh fruits and vegetables from the village. We also employ local villagers for gardening, housekeeping and service staff. Local technical men is used for maintenance of satellite & purification systems, electric works, wood repairs etc.
Environment
At the hotel, we only use nature friendly products. In example, all the cleaning products are organic certified and bio-degradable. All of the lighting bulbs in the whole area(including rooms) are energy saver type. In the rooms and public toilets, flow control taps are used. The lcd tv’s and AC’s in the rooms are also A class which need less power to operate. All the materials in our buildings are natural and organic, the houses are built from local-stones, the furniture is completely handmade from woodwork and the windows are glass. We recycle glass, paper, cans and organic waste. We simply want our guest to use the recycle bins in the room’s vernada and the poolside. The organic waste is composted and reused for gardening.
We invite every traveler who books a vacation via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the vacations they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same vacation can have different views!
