Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it.
(more)A particular highlight was the welcome we received from Carrie and Colin. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, including maps, guide books and a lift to and from Fowey in the evening.
(more)Our apartment was very thoughtfully decorated and equipped, the rooms light, pretty and tasteful, in a simple Greek style but with personal touches and everything we needed for making the odd evening meal. (more)The hotel is in a lovely forested area, which is very handy for lots of places in Andalucia. The hotel is very relaxed and friendly. The most exciting part was seeing clouds of buzzards, vultures and eagles rising up over the plains on the thermals on their migration route over the Straits of Gibraltar. (more)Most memorable?
