Very enjoyable stay, great accommodation, very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation in a beautiful location with loads to see and do (all of which is detailed in an up to date and meticulously prepared and researched information folder left in the room).

Some fabulous restaurants in chiavenna and wonderful food and drink, simply gorgeous views, fresh air and zillions of places to go and see from lakes to quaint villages to deserted mountain treks (more)The most memorable part were the ...scones on arrival (they were the best I have ever tasted!), walking around the beautiful country side and the farm... (more)There were lots of memorable moments:- from lovely walks, beautiful surroundings of the hotel, really lovely owners, Ilaria and Derek, who couldn't have been more helpful, beautiful starry night sky and lots of different types of wild birds to be seen nearby.

This place is best enjoyed as an opportunity to take time out and relax rather than as a base for lots of excursions. 10/10 - wonderful! (more)Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it. (more)It is almost impossible to highlight any one part of this wonderful vacation. It was the sheer attention to detail, excellent itineraries and food, thoughtfulness towards clients and generosity of all involved in the organisation, to pass on their considerable knowledge about the area that made it all so perfect. (more)This was a fantastic day where we were taken around a bay by Captain Halil, we swam in the clear sea and his mother cooked us a lunch of freshly caught fish and kebabs. Fantastic! So much to do in this area of Turkey.
