The entire experience was an absolute blast. The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travelers.... If you are after a different kind of vacation where you can both relax and have a few adventures this is it.

(more)For a burnt out, stressed westerner, the village home stay gave me a much more therapeutic experience than checking into a 5 star spa hotel, for a few days.
