I loved this little farm and the people who run the B&B. It was in a lovely spot by a stream...I loved my time in the area of the B&B.
(more)I hesitate to write this review for selfish reasons. Why? Because this vacation is so wonderful I'd rather keep it a secret! Situated on the southern slopes of Mt Batakaru in remotest Bali, this place is a pocket of paradise, far removed from the ravages of the 21st century. Having spent a week there I did not want to leave.
(more)The most memorable parts were being able to catch public transport to most places with a toddler; the fantastic location of the guesthouse; and the great innkeepers & their fantastic hospitality. The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travelers.... (more)There were lots of memorable moments:- from lovely walks, beautiful surroundings of the hotel, really lovely owners, Ilaria and Derek, who couldn't have been more helpful, beautiful starry night sky and lots of different types of wild birds to be seen nearby.
(more)Essaouira was easily the most relaxing part of our vacation. The accommodation was a lovely place to stay for a few days and Paolo, Hakin and Naima looked after us very well.

This was our second visit to The Cotswolds (last over 4 years ago) and we were charmed anew. Too often our vacation experience has been such we're ready to return home after a few days, but on this occasion a week passed quickly, happily, relatively comfortably.

I would love to go back and do a horse-riding trip with the countess as the best way to see Transylvania close up!...It was absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed every part of our vacation. The food was exceptional and the hotel could not be faulted in any way. We had two fantastic days out with Peter Jones a local bird expert who showed us all the wonderful birds and wildlife in the area. This was our first time in Sardinia, our first farm vacation, away from the beaten tracks. We spent a week and rested so much that we feel as if we've been away for months. The bedroom we chose was magic and I'll never forget going down the escarpment garden to the cliff walk at the bottom - that was brilliant.
