Most memorable parts were exploring the island, discovering beautiful mountain views and villages, having coffee in the village with Tony's dad and friends!

We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers.

The peace and tranquillity were sublime. A lovely property with all the mod cons (even a coffee machine) however in wonderful rural surrounds. The garden of the property was a delight. The countryside of the Loire was beautiful, the village a short bike ride away.

The Gambian people were probably the most memorable part of a trip which included many exciting moments including spotting amazing birds, holding snakes, watching the fiddler crabs in the mangrove swamps and seeing wild baboons.

We enjoyed every part of our vacation. The food was exceptional and the hotel could not be faulted in any way. We had two fantastic days out with Peter Jones a local bird expert who showed us all the wonderful birds and wildlife in the area.

Seeing the farm and the animals and finding out about how they have converted to an organic farm was the most memorable part.

I think the scenery on the Brittany coast was the most memorable part, and a wonderful meal we had on our last day, plus some great visits to local artisan producers.

Visiting the nearby village was a real eye-opener and an experience I could not have obtained any other way in a short vacation of three weeks in Tanzania. The Barbours were most welcoming and kind and I felt part of the family.

The family is welcoming and took great care of us. Neema is a great cook and gave us plenty advice on where to go.

Great cottage with perfect hosts providing cream tea on arrival, maps, advice, made to measure wellies, fresh laid eggs. A total delight.
