The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out.
(more)Very enjoyable stay, great accommodation, very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation in a beautiful location with loads to see and do (all of which is detailed in an up to date and meticulously prepared and researched information folder left in the room).

Magnificent! We had a wonderful time in Lubrin. John was an excellent host - informative and very attentive. The accommodation was outstanding value for money. The gardens and pool were a real delight. We will definitely return.

The most memorable parts were being able to catch public transport to most places with a toddler; the fantastic location of the guesthouse; and the great innkeepers & their fantastic hospitality. (more)There were lots of memorable moments:- from lovely walks, beautiful surroundings of the hotel, really lovely owners, Ilaria and Derek, who couldn't have been more helpful, beautiful starry night sky and lots of different types of wild birds to be seen nearby.
(more)We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.

We enjoyed every part of our vacation. The food was exceptional and the hotel could not be faulted in any way. We had two fantastic days out with Peter Jones a local bird expert who showed us all the wonderful birds and wildlife in the area. (more)
Seeing the farm and the animals and finding out about how they have converted to an organic farm was the most memorable part. The surfing lesson was wonderful, the spa treatments were fantastic, relaxing and rejuvenating, the general ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the staff could not do enough to help you or make your stay relaxing and fantastic!
