Simply sitting back, enjoying the peace and tranquillity was the most memorable...We genuinely think we had very little impact on the environment. We spent money in local shops - although the nearby Waitrose was a temptation! (more)
We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers. (more)
The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out. (more)We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.

This was our second visit to The Cotswolds (last over 4 years ago) and we were charmed anew. Too often our vacation experience has been such we're ready to return home after a few days, but on this occasion a week passed quickly, happily, relatively comfortably.
(more)A particular highlight was the welcome we received from Carrie and Colin. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, including maps, guide books and a lift to and from Fowey in the evening.

Gill and Neil make you feel very at home and I was very well looked after. I even got a ride out in the pony and trap one evening - an added bonus! I had a lovely, relaxing week and would definitely recommend this accommodation to other people. I would be very happy to stay there again in the future. (more)
B&B was excellent with very comfortable accommodation, great food, wonderful Highland stoneware crockery (a personal favourite) and fantastic facilities. (more)
The view from the house was outstanding, seeing it every day was even better. It must have been the best view from a vacation cottage I have ever seen! I will always remember it. (more)
The surfing lesson was wonderful, the spa treatments were fantastic, relaxing and rejuvenating, the general ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the staff could not do enough to help you or make your stay relaxing and fantastic! (more)
10/10...My stay as a whole was completely memorable. The room was wonderful, the whole place spotless and the attention to detail was like nothing I had seen before. The owners were 2 of the nicest people I have met and went out of there way to be as helpful as possible. (more)10/10 it was fantastic couldn’t fault it.
