We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers.

(more)A particular highlight was the welcome we received from Carrie and Colin. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, including maps, guide books and a lift to and from Fowey in the evening.
(more)The view from the house was outstanding, seeing it every day was even better. It must have been the best view from a vacation cottage I have ever seen! I will always remember it. Home from home accommodation with beautiful views, where our 6 and 3 year old could explore Godshill farm freely, safely and meet new friends also staying on the farm. To hear the Animals in the morning in the surrounding fields make it a special and exciting way for children to start the day. (more)
The setting of the cottage itself and views from the hot tub were most memorable. We were in Rose, the smaller cottage, and the views were beautiful...The whole family, including boys of 10 and 5, loved it. Being on a croft with the animals made it extra special. (more)
Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy. (more)
The whole ethos of the house and it's setting made this into an unforgettable weekend. Sitting by the enormous window/doors in the early morning watching the sunrise over the Malverns was remarkable. Beautiful walks along the Pembrokeshire coast where we saw lots of wildlife including choughs, peregrine falcons and dolphins. (more)The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.
