1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Difficult to single anything out.....the whole vacation was very special. A lot of the credit for this goes to our guide (called 'Oh'). He was totally passionate about his country and went out of his way to make sure we experienced as many sights, sounds & tastes as possible. He secretly photographed and videoed us as we went along, presenting us with a CD at the end of the vacation....with the video all edited together. If we were to single out one day it would probably be the day on the lake in Khao Sok National Park.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Go ahead & book.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

This is difficult to gauge, but I would like to think this was much more the case than with the more mass market vacations.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Wonderful. Traveling in a small group as a family with such a dedicated guide allowed us to see more & interact more. We were able to eat at small road side cafes and at the Phetchaburi night market, and wander around the Sangklaburi floating houses.....a bigger group just couldn't do this.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

We all have different highlights, but generally agree that the day we had a boat trip down the Maekok river, followed by an elephant ride where we got to ride the elephants like a mahout and then spent a night in an Akha village, was our most memorable day.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The guides are very knowledgeable and will give you good advice. The kit list is quite comprehensive. Bring lots of bite cream!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

The company are very conscious of the impact of tourism on the environment, and local economy. We were struck by their ethical stance.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Absolutely fantastic.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Walking in the rainforest following local guide in his shower cap and Wellingtons and meeting the jungle dwelling Sakai, and swimming in pool at top of huge and remote waterfall.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Do some research and have plenty of discussion with the tour operator to ensure that you pick the elements that you really want for your vacation - we ended up with an itinerary that took parts from two separate brochure itineraries and suited all our family.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Very well organised and some wonderful experiences, my children aged 12 and 14 were only just old enough to enjoy it and were not very adventurous with food-would not recommend for younger children.
