1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
All of it - we had a great time. Our guide was very very good - as much as we could have ever expected and more. He was always knowledgeable and happy to chat to us. He also left us alone when he could see we wanted some privacy. He was ever helpful and astute to understand our needs. Obviously a very experienced guide.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Book in Kathmandu - it's cheaper!
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Not exactly - there was no particular encouragement to not use plastic or to carry rubbish out. Our guide was aware of the environment in his own right, but we saw no obvious signs of encouragement from the tour operator.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

I am sorry you have felt that we are not encouraging environment protection enough, Tom, but that is not really the case. I do admit that all the rush rush, due to a trip confirmation on the 28th evening and trip departure on 31st morning, with your trip with another company in between meant that we were not able to give you an appropriate responsibility briefing, and we are sorry for that. We should have insisted on a responsibility briefing and this is an improvement we will install in the company for the future. On the other hand, your very impression that the guide was aware about the environment was because we make continuous efforts to sensitize our guides through the orientations and briefings we give them on these issues.
Moreover, if you were directed to our website at any stage of the communications, we already have guidelines for traveling responsibly in Nepal which covers all these topics very clearly and in detail. We are sad that you left with this impression of our company, but are very glad that you had a wonderful trip! We would also like to thank you for your honest feedback, which helps us improve our services.
