1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Leaving the car alone for 2 full days and exploring that area of the Peak District on foot only, tiring but works up an appetite.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Book a breakfast basket before you arrive, there is enough there for 2 people over 2 days, way better than going to a large supermarket (over 10 miles away) and it's yummy!
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, the cottage owners provided baskets of local food and there was ample recycling facilities onsite. We also enjoyed great pubs within walking distance of the cottage. Before leaving I bought locally made honey and crafts.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent! It was cold but the cottage was so cosy it didn't matter. I wish I had explored this area more.

Just to say the farm is a real gem. We were only there for 2 nights so not a lot to report - just that it's a real quality place set amidst beautiful walking country - just the place for a quiet retreat with excellent eating places.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The location offers very easy access both to outdoor activities and to the cultural facilities of the nearest town. Our hosts were most hospitable and had provided many additional items for our use during our stay.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
The whole accommodation complex has been designed to be environmentally sustainable; with energy saving technology built in and our hosts operate good environmental practice in terms of day to day activities, and expected us to do so too. Local produce (including the very local eggs) was available, and local crafts and places to eat were suggested.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
We could not fault any aspect of the accommodation or location. Our vacation was excellent.
