Responsible tourism: River rafting in Colorado, USA
Our company helps people to explore the natural beauty of the outdoors and enjoy doing something different and exciting with a low environmental impact. We have a team of talented people who really know the landscape and do all they can to ensure groups can enjoy it without causing unnecessary disturbance to the land or any wildlife habitats. We work closely with the US Forest Service and other nearby outdoors companies to ensure that we're doing the best job we can.
Our company promotes sustainable outdoor activities and we always ensure that nothing is left behind after a day on the river or trails; it's important to leave the landscape as you left it- or tidier- to ensure that wildlife is not put at risk and the area can remain unspoiled and enjoyed for many years to come.
Glenwood Springs is filled with natural wonders, so make the most of getting outdoors! Stick around for a few days and visit Hot Springs Pool, National Forest and crystal clear Lake that was formed at the edge of Glenwood Canyon; your experience of Colorado and Glenwood Springs will be one that the whole family will never forget.
We work with neighbouring activity companies to provide activity packages to our visitors, including 'Pedals and Paddles' trips which combine a day of biking and rafting, and we also work with a local horse ranch to offer riding trips. The working hay, cattle and elk ranch encompasses thousands of acres in beautiful Alkali Creek, and gives guests another experience of this spectacularly beautiful area, just 15 minutes further west of Glenwood Springs. All trips are guided by friendly, knowledgeable local staff.
We're pleased to provide employment to people that are passionate and knowledgable about the outdoors. Our guides come from different backgrounds and places and are united through their love of adventure and desire to share the natural wonders of Glenwood Springs with locals and visitors alike!
Glenwood Springs is the ultimate destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering an array of activities the whole family can enjoy. There are a variety of companies operating to show you the best of the region, and we're happy to make recommendations for other people and places to visit. If you're hoping to immerse fully into local life, then June is a great month to visit. Thousands of locals gather for the celebration of Strawberry Days, one of the oldest festivals west of the Mississippi. This three-day event includes food, drinks, booths, and live music celebrating Glenwood’s unique history. Whether it is spring, summer, winter or fall, with everything Glenwood has to offer, you and your family are assured a warm welcome and a great time.
