On this visit to the Adriatic coast we propose an outdoor itinerary focused on nature, beautiful scenery and the special sites of the Conero region. Accompanied by an experienced and authorised guide, you will trek on easy and readily accessible walking trails from which you can safely observe your surroundings without damaging the natural habitat. Your knowledgeable guide will point out indigenous plants and local wildlife along the way, perhaps even a golden eagle or a wolf, and tell you about the preservation of this special territory. Using just your two feet, the greenest way to travel, you will visit many small villages and beautiful beaches where time seems to stand still. Choosing a walking tour such as this one gives you an intimate connection to your destination - its sights, smells, tastes, sounds and feel - and is a sustainable act which resonates far beyond this precious place on the Adriatic Sea.
We strive to promote local culture and directly support the special communities we visit on all of our tours, including this one along the Adriatic Coast. To do so, we select locally-owned vendors and services (transport, accommodation, guided tours, etc.), and small scale businesses that benefit most from your visit, and whose operations are vital to the preservation of this region. For example, your beautiful accommodation in a locally-run B&B with a view of the sea, restaurants that feature regional cuisine and local ingredients, and even a wine tasting of the region's famous Rosso Conero varietal. Your walking itinerary will be led by a local naturalist familiar with the area's trails, native flora and fauna, history and sites, and who can recommend characteristic spots to eat, visit and enjoy during your stay. We limit the number of participants on this tour to keep our environmental impact to a minimum, and maximize our promise to make a difference.
