Short breaks to Istanbul, Turkey

How this vacation makes a difference

These breaks utilise independent boutique hotels that maintain high standards of responsibility with regards to their architectural design, and those that celebrate the cultural traditions and heritage of Istanbul.

The guided tours use only local guides who are passionate about the city and its remarkable history.

We aim to introduce travelers to the quirky soul of the city, not just the glossy highlights.

Since our launch we have been striving to present an authentic and uncommercial vision of Turkey with independently minded travelers from across the globe. Whole-heartedly opposed to the usual tours on offer, where hundreds of tourists are bundled on coaches, whizzed around the obvious sites, then herded into carpet, leather and jewellery shops, our tours offer the traveler a much more subtle, personal and intimate way to discover the country.

Story of the vacation provider

Serkan studied Drama at Bristol University then worked as a film maker in Soho, London, but his love of his home country, Turkey, led him to set up a tour company. His itineraries combine extraordinary experiences in weird and wonderful places along with the traditional highlights. Serkan hand-picks local guides for their genuine respect, personality and charisma, who don’t just regurgitate information from textbooks. He believes that the incredible hospitality, curiosity and warmth of the people, as well as the landscapes and history, are what make Turkey so special. These ambient vacations offer an opportunity to see the country through the eyes of a local.
