Responsible tourism: Sea kayaking vacation in Croatia
All of our sea kayaking guides are aware of their surrounding and they are constantly providing the travelers with suggestions of how to minimize potential negative impacts on the marine ecosystems of Croatia. Our sea kayaking guides emphasize the importance of observing the marine life and leaving the environment as it is.
Our sea kayaks are made of recyclable plastic. They do not cause any form of air or water pollution and they do not produce noise that could be disturbing for marine life.
On our sea kayaking vacation we suggest that our travelers visit historically, culturally and environmentally important sights in Croatia such as the Dubrovnik's Old Town, Renaissance villas on the island of Sipan and Lokrum Nature Park.
On this sea kayaking vacation in Croatia we work with local guest houses on the islands and do not take commission from the local guesthouse owners. For some of our contracted guesthouses, family run B&B business is the main source of income for the whole family.

It supported local people. All lunches were arranged in local restaurants,
group tour to a local small farm where a lady cooked an amazing meal with wine and local brandies, all enjoyed on her porch. Very traditional food made by a local.

We all liked being in smaller guest houses run by local people and finding out how they make a living the rest of the year. These were people who love their jobs rather than people who just work for money and that glimpse of their lifestyle was a very special part of the vacation. Read full review

Lovely week. The group was great with a real mix of ages and experiences. The pace of the week was just right with some pretty challenging paddles some days and really relaxing ones on others. The attitude was laid back with loose plans flexible to suit the needs of the group.
