This was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had in a very long time, and Deborah was a brilliant host... I had a wonderful time, and would recommend the cottage to anybody who wants to experience the real Turkey away from the main tourist resorts. A lovely family vacation or romantic getaway, off the beaten track, true Italy at its best. (more)We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.

From our arrival by boat through the mangroves through to our departure three days later, we loved our time at the lodge. We were the only guests staying there at the time and we received a high level of care from owners Dan and Holly. (more)

The mountains, local environment and seeing an Eagle were the highlights...Self catering cottage looks very comfortable, we had a tour of the cottage, but stayed in the hotel which was equally good. Our apartment was very thoughtfully decorated and equipped, the rooms light, pretty and tasteful, in a simple Greek style but with personal touches and everything we needed for making the odd evening meal.
