The mountains, local environment and seeing an Eagle were the highlights...Self catering cottage looks very comfortable, we had a tour of the cottage, but stayed in the hotel which was equally good. This really was the best vacation we have ever had, we have struggled in the past to find somewhere that everyone enjoys which is difficult with young active children, but this accommodation and Ithaca really did mean we relaxed and enjoyed time with them whilst they also had a great time. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely go back.

Arriving at the accommodation and watching the sun set over the medina from the terrace. Stumbling through the vacation in broken French (although most Moroccans speak several languages). Exploring the souks and markets. Eating the most amazing
Moroccan food (personal favourite: kefta et oeuf tajine).

Living in a cave for a week was quite extraordinary. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely break, an adventure which we all enjoyed and gorgeous weather and views in a part of Spain not usually visited by tourists. (more)

Tochni was one of the most beautiful villages in the area. It suited us because it was very quiet. Renovating old buildings provides an immediate atmosphere to the vacation and is much better than staying in a new apartment.
