The husky sledging was amazing and we also got to see the northern lights we did something nearly everyday and enjoyed every minute, went to the ice hotel you can't really explain in words how pretty the scenery is you have to go and see it to believe it.

The highlights were coming across a flock of Sri Lanka Blue Magpies feeding noisily in the Sinharaja Rain Forest and seeing the nesting Painted Storks with chicks in Yala National Park.

...we were blown away by the Iguazu Falls which were just amazing! Also spending my birthday on a schooner, with bubbly and cake provided by the operator, was a lovely surprise, and I felt very spoilt!

The accommodation was the most luxurious, most welcoming, most helpful place we have ever stayed in; and the walks through the tea estate with idyllic views of the reservoir and surrounding hills, both relaxing and inspiring.

Most memorable was the Taj Mahal. It's everything it's claimed to be. A remarkable building that shows little sign of age. We visited in the afternoon then went back at dawn. It's well worth two visits

Trinidad was an amazing city and really touched our hearts, but having a car and the freedom to explore, and being able to see the real Cuba was the best thing we did.

The most lasting memory will probably be our stay on Amantani Island on Lake TitiKaka. We stayed with a family without water and electricity and it was both enjoyable as well as being an eye opener.

Amazing. Our guide / driver is a saint! No question was too stupid. No loo stop was inconvenient. He took such good care of us, and made us feel like valued friends instead of tourists. I will never forget Kenya and will go back as soon as I can.

Our vacation was a dream come true. Owner, Keith has built the whole place by hand with logs he found on the nearby beaches. What he has done is remarkable and his wife Randi adds the special touches that make the place really feel like being home.

It is difficult to choose a most memorable part as this is the best vacation we've ever had, but I think that the three days in the Estancia in the wetlands were the most memorable. Arriving in a Cessna was very exciting, the hotel and people there are just faultless.

The most memorable part was Abai Jungle lodge - so remote and romantic, plus tons of wildlife. It felt like the first time you visited a zoo.

Each part was equally memorable as they offered a unique experience from other elements of the vacation. It benefited local people in that tourism is a form of job creation, whether for a hotelier, chef, waiter, tour guide, driver etc and must benefit local economies.
