The smile of the Sri Lankan people was uplifting as was luxuriating in a herbal bath overlooking the Sinharaja Rainforest with lightening flashing on the horizon. Also being accompanied by two guides during our trip who were so enthusiastic, generous hearted and committed to making our vacation everything we had hoped for.

The most memorable parts were the ride on an elephant and seeing the Himalayas for the first time. Not to mention over three hundred bird species that we saw and the fabulous Taj mahal.

The Gambian people were probably the most memorable part of a trip which included many exciting moments including spotting amazing birds, holding snakes, watching the fiddler crabs in the mangrove swamps and seeing wild baboons.

In old fashioned terms 10/10; or in other words we received a top class service at a fair and reasonable price. This was the most memorable vacation that I have ever taken and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Andy struts arrogantly across the restaurant floor, eyeballing numerous diners who have entered his domain before selecting a German couple in the corner. He decides he will join them for breakfast. They are not upset when, without an invitation, he invades their space. In fact, they are thrilled to be chosen. They watched his swaggering approach and now smile broadly as he hops from the floor onto their table. A slice of fresh mango is held in front of him and Andy quickly finishes the first course of his tropical breakfast. He perches on the shoulder of one of the visitors so her husband can take a picture - and then, being a compulsive table-hopper, flies off to join another group. Andy is an extrovert eclectus parrot and one of the stars of Breakfast With The Birds at the Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in tropical north Queensland's Port Douglas.
