Words dont describe what an incredible experience it was for us... but we also had a guide and porter who loved to run like we did, and they had a great sense of adventure and fantastic sense of humor... so it was a blast.
(more)Most memorable was our Shaman host at the jungle homestay. He glided around, playfully and skilfully making leaf hats etc and happily sharing with us his knowledge and Chechan philosophy. A wise man and free spirit in a beautiful place. I enjoyed so many things about my vacation, I had a truly fantastic time but if I had to choose I would say the hill-tribe trek, that was a great experience for many reasons, I especially loved seeing the tribes & the breath-taking landscape it was unbelievable I thought, a special experience. I feel that every part of the journey is memorable - I enjoyed it throughout. It is very difficult to pick a few highlights, as I feel this trip includes most of China's highlights....It was a great vacation - a lot of interesting sights, fascinating history and great people (more)
Most memorable? Seeing the baby turtles in Tortuguero National Park... I had a wonderful experience with a very well trained, and experienced, guide. The communication was excellent.

Hard to judge as it was all so brilliant, but probably the felucca trip and diving in Dahab were the most memorable. The sights are amazing and the people friendly, who could ask for more on a fab vacation!
