(more)It was excellent! The pilates teacher, equipment, chef, bedroom - everything is super top quality. The idea itself - a blend of pilates and cookery is so inspiring and from day one makes you feel completely invigorated. (more)The setting of the cottage itself and views from the hot tub were most memorable. We were in Rose, the smaller cottage, and the views were beautiful...The whole family, including boys of 10 and 5, loved it. Being on a croft with the animals made it extra special. (more)We find it hard to pull out one memorable part of our 3 days with Rajat and family at their wonderful home in the Nilgiri Hills. I think though if we had to pick one thing it would be the extraordinary warmth, hospitality and kindness bestowed on us by the family from the moment we stepped out of the car. We were made to feel like long-lost family or best friends.

The setting is magical, with the beautiful farmhouse set in the middle of the family’s land and olive groves. The cookery lessons were great - informal tuition with Anna, a local lady and amazing cook. You cannot beat making ravioli for lunch using local ingredients. (more)I found the early morning visit to the Elephant Sanctuary at Kodanad was truly breathtaking. To see the baby elephants, in particular, being bathed in the river by their caring keepers was wonderful. Even better was that it was so un-commercialised.
