We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candle light, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting.

We had the most wonderful vacation, saw some amazing sights, met some really lovely people and had a great great vacation, I would certainly recommend the moroccan vacation to friends.

Most memorable were going inside the Great Pyramid, sailing down (up) the Nile in the Dahabiya, Hadeel, instead of the big diesel monsters they have for most tourists, El Tahrir square and the bazaar. The staff on the Hadeel were fabulous.

Fantastic, really enjoyable - largely due to an excellent group leader who was very knowledgeable and really cared that we all had a good time.

I will never forget cycling down some of the quiet back country lanes of Rajasthan -children running across fields of yellow mustard flowers to greet you as you bicycle past - pausing in a small village to meet the people.

Walking in the Atlas in general was terrific with the beautiful scenery. Sleeping outside under the stars was also amazing... Second to none!

Most memorable? Dramatic scenery especially during off road drives. Seeing the green turtles.

We were lucky enough to have our own guide, who seemed to know the perfect times to visit everywhere - when we were with him, we were usually the only tourists, so felt very privileged.

Most memorable were walking to the top of the dunes, having the only set of footprints the whole way and surveying the vast view... Running up a dune in the dark and sitting on the top looking at the stars.

Most memorable moments were scuba diving the beautifully unspoiled reefs of Ras Abu Galum, stargazing at night while sipping Bedouin tea, loving the wonderful camels and letting your mind remain silent while taking in the beautifully stark and wild scenery of South Sinai.

Most memorable? Two things in particular, seeing the sunrise in the Sahara desert, and the night sky in the Atlas Mountains. Just such a wonderful experience!!

The most memorable part of the vacation was spotting the leopard. We would have missed it & driven on, but the leaders saw it & we went back. We had to be patient because the leopard hid in a culvert, but eventually came out.

Thanks for including the lodge on your website. We would never have taken the five day desert safari without it as our destination. Our highlight of the trip was taking a half day camel trip into the sand hills behind the lodge. The camel guides and camels were great.

All visits to Rajastani palaces, forts and havelis were a fantastic experience, especially since the city guides were really good and very excited to tell us all about it. The Taj Mahal is certainly a highlight, but my top experience was visiting the living and breathing city within the walls of Jaisalmer fort.

Most memorable was camping in the Sahara under the stars with no man-mad noise or light to interrupt the experience.

The most memorable parts were wandering through the souks in Damascus, through the deserted ruins of Palmyra at dusk and dawn, Petra by night (in spite of the crowds) and standing on a red dune in Wadi Rum in the rain.
