Highlights were the hot air ballooning at sunrise, meeting the donkeys on landing to ride to the valley of the Kings & going into the tombs, all on the final day!!

We did a camel safari to a dive site where we did two beautiful dives and had lunch at a Bedouin village... We had a really great time and would recommend to anyone. (more)
It's impossible to state the most memorable part of this vacation as it really was superb in all aspects. The vacation was everything and more than we could have imagined. Most memorable were going inside the Great Pyramid, sailing down (up) the Nile in the Dahabiya, Hadeel, instead of the big diesel monsters they have for most tourists, El Tahrir square and the bazaar. The staff on the Hadeel were fabulous. (more)The highlight of course was swimming with wild dolphins out in a protected reef in the middle of beautiful clear blue sea. Beyond that though the location, the food, the helpfulness of the staff, the accommodation and the attention to detail were all excellent. (more)
Definitely the Abu Simbel Sun Miracle we were able to witness and experience was the highlight. To be able to see 3 of the 4 pharaohs light up from sun coming through, was an experience we will never forget. (more)
Most memorable? I think the Pyramids at Giza and the paintings in the tomb of Ramses I, or perhaps it was the gold mask of Tutankamun, or was it the statue of Ramses II at Memphis... it was always a jaw-dropping moment at each place we visited.

Thanks for including the lodge on your website. We would never have taken the five day desert safari without it as our destination. Our highlight of the trip was taking a half day camel trip into the sand hills behind the lodge. The camel guides and camels were great. Diving the Islands was my favourite. The quad biking and evening in the desert was good too. The night sky in the desert was amazing. The staff at the Coral Coast Hotel were great, they made me a cake for my birthday and sang Happy Birthday in Arabic. They did origami arrangements with the towels. (more)

(more)The Ancient Egyptian sites were amazing of course, one of our favourite moments was finding ourselves deep inside the burial chamber of Khafre's pyramid (the second large pyramid) and having the room to ourselves for a few minutes... I was really impressed by Abu Simbel, and the really deep tomb we saw at the Valley of the Kings make the others there pale in comparison. (more)I enjoyed the day in Cairo. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Visiting the Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids with the camel ride was unforgettable. Snorkelling in the diving in the Red Sea is magical!!!
