It was all that you imagine Tuscany to be - a converted farmhouse set in stunning countryside with a view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside that had to be seen to be believed and which afforded the sight of the most wonderful sunsets. The Soca river is both fantastically beautiful and great fun; canyoning was a genuinely awesome experience. Kobarid is a lovely little town to spend some time in: as the Soca is fast and cold, you can nip up the road on your days off to the Nadiza which is a lovely place to swim. (more)
The boys loved cayonning - jumping off of cayons into pools; I loved horse riding American style through the mountains - it was fantastic & Liz was a terrific guide. We also climbed up to some glacial lakes with Mel - which was an incredible experience. Everything was great!!!! The setting, the food, the sailing (windsurfing) and the staff was extremely helpful and nice.
