There were lots of memorable moments:- from lovely walks, beautiful surroundings of the hotel, really lovely owners, Ilaria and Derek, who couldn't have been more helpful, beautiful starry night sky and lots of different types of wild birds to be seen nearby.

(more)There is so much to remember about this vacation; we really enjoyed the mixed scenery of forest, countryside and coastal, we loved being able to have an active vacation that the whole family (children & adults) enjoyed, the hospitality we received at Casa Dos Torres was excellent, and it was exciting discovering gorgeous tiny old Spanish villages, packed with charm and very yummy tapas.

The most exciting part was snorkelling into a cave whose entrance was only just on the waterline; the most memorable, difficult to say - the company (our group of 6 really gelled), the places we visited (that you can really only get to in a kayak), the islands and their people themselves......

The most memorable part of our vacation was the time spent in a very remote area of Tanzania with the Masai. We were privileged to visit their homes and witness their day to day living. An amazing experience! (more)
The sheer beauty and peace of the landscape and the farm were most memorable... This place is best enjoyed as an opportunity to take time out and relax rather than as a base for lots of excursions. 10/10 - wonderful! (more)
Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it. (more)We had a wonderful week- we were only sorry that we had to return home before the village fiesta which takes place next week end and for which we would love to have stayed. Maybe next year?
(more)The peace and tranquillity were sublime. A lovely property with all the mod cons (even a coffee machine) however in wonderful rural surrounds. The garden of the property was a delight. The countryside of the Loire was beautiful, the village a short bike ride away. (more)
The highlight for all four of us was white water rafting. My daughter also enjoyed hydrospeeding and my husband, canyoning!
