We were blessed with consistently clear, sunny almost 80-degree weather. And the small towns where we stayed overnight were charming and still very rural, but with nice accommodations and pubs. We have never been on a walking vacation of this duration, and it's by far the best form of locomotion.

Everything about this vacation was excellent, and exceeded expectations. The walking was varied, the guide/s were knowledgeable and supportive, the food was simply wonderful, and my walking companions were friends by the end of the week. (more)Really wonderful! Although this was our third time walking the Camino Santiago de Compostella. It was still as fantastic spiritual experience as our first. I do not think that there is a walk like it. (more)
Wonderful - hard work, but really interesting, and relaxing as well. A perfect mix. We will definitely return to do the Everest trek and we will definitely use this operator again. (more)I loved the time spent in Machico, its a lovely place to relax after a day walking. However, the best for me was the walking up in the North (I think it was the North) where Madeira is luscious and the scenery is spectacular. The food was excellent (huge quantities) and so was the local wine, beer and brandy (also plentiful!)
