As each day passed it became my favourite day so far! The Inca Trail of course and the island home stay have to be my top two. The vacation was made all the more memorable because of the great group we were traveling with and of course our guide Dante.

There were many memorable moments. Too few to fully list out! One destination was the Gomantong Birdnest Caves. The main cave tests all your senses. Certainly a location for the next Indiana Jones film, not for flip-flop wearing tourists!

We were immersed in this really poor country, with the hint of past traumatic occupation and wars, and received the most generous opening of hearts from this 80% buddhist country.

Excellent experience, especially for the children. A great tour to get an idea of different ways of life in Morocco, from rural villages to big cities.

The most memorable part was going out with a research vessel from Lossiemouth (Scotland) and watching how the sonars for dolphin research were replaced. This provided an insight into "real" conservation work.

My stay at was most enjoyable with excellent accommodation and food at a reasonable cost. I was pointed to the best walking areas and had a very pleasant time.

We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candle light, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting.

The most memorable day was our day off. We were asked what we would like to do and everyone asked to go cycling for the day! We went off and did two amazing downhill runs which combined some uphill climbs that I would never have thought I could have been able to do.

Most memorable? Following the leopard going through the thick reeds of the dried riverbed... Being in the very middle of the 400 buffalos herd moving to another grazing field... Two gracious cheetah males crossing the tar road...

Riding an elephant at 6.30am on Xmas day through the Chitwan jungle and spotting the one horned rhino is hard to beat. I can still see the breathtaking views on our trek round the Kathmandu valley that were constantly changing.
