We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks... The knowledge and hospitality of the tour leaders, Suraj and Ravindra, made this a particularly memorable trip - by the end, we really felt more like we were with friends than on a 'tour'.

The vacation was full of memorable experiences from our first day when we met our fantastic driver/guide, Kapila. He seemed to really enjoy sharing his knowledge of the history, culture, flora and fauna of Sri Lanka. He was also really good fun and so caring about our enjoyment and welfare - he became a real friend and we will keep in touch.

Bhopal Singh is undoubtedly the best guide I have had on trips to India. He actually knows the history as well as the culture, habits, etc...Excellent.

Most memorable was the Taj Mahal. It's everything it's claimed to be. A remarkable building that shows little sign of age. We visited in the afternoon then went back at dawn. It's well worth two visits

It was a fantastic vacation. Byron, our guide, made sure that everything ran smoothly. We saw some wonderful wildlife, not just the orangutans but also many birds, pigmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, and many others.

Every step of the trip went very smoothly and having English speaking guides and drivers made the whole experience very personal. Often the local guides enriched our experiences as they espoused more than mere information, passionately imparting their knowledge and opinions.

The traditional Thai dancing was absolutely stunning – we had a taste of four different types of dance by the elegant dancers, as well as a charming routine by a young girl. It was also wonderful to visit a local temple with Tim, who was a delightfully warm & friendly guide.

The homestays were particularly enjoyable, allowing us some insight into everyday life in a way that can be difficult to experience as a tourist. Our hosts were warm, genuine, entertaining and thoughtful people.
