I am reborn! Simply the best vacation I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
It was fantastic - a really good way of seeing a country and having fun at the
same time. And perfectly organised. (more)Rebecca Brown
Very highly rated, if you are active and want a well planned mix of cycling, kayaking and walking in the depths of the Swedish countryside then go for it. A good vacation for families with teenagers (more)Mike Platten
Very enjoyable, the operator (Carmen) couldn't have done more, from the moment I started organising it 'til we left Sweden. (more)Hilary Thomas
Staying in a welcoming and comfortable hotel in a beautiful part of Spain, with delightful hosts, and masses of available activities.
Stay at here, it's great.
Yes, all of the above. We booked several activities with local companies and ate in local restaurants. We were able to travel extensively by bike rather than car.
Excellent. We have all returned fit, healthy and happy. (more)Mary Anne Roffs
Most memorable was getting out on the sea and being able to travel at your own pace. The Islands are amazing and Miljet is a must see place, we loved it. (more)Chivers Libby
We enjoyed the kayaking because we were able to get away from the throng of tourists and it was an ideal vacation for the 3 active teenagers we had with us but easy enough for the adults. (more)Louise Solomon
The sea kayaking and snorkelling on Lopud island was great fun. It got quite interesting in terms of high waves on the way back which was a welcomed challenge. (more)Mariana Heinrich
We had a great time - its a really good vacation for a family with older kids (young adults really), where everyone is fairly active but want different things from
a vacation. the operator was responsive, relaxed and helpful. Our island guides were expert kayakers but were also patient with the not-so-expert guests. (more)Liz Wren
The team made us feel at home, went the extra mile, and as we all said, we want to come back sometime in the future. (more)James Megarry
Best vacation in years, perfect location, exciting activities, knowledgeable guide. (more)Lisa Fogden
Absolutely fantastic. Had an amazing time and started planning the next on the way home. (more)Hayley Cripps
It supported local people. All lunches were arranged in local restaurants,
group tour to a local small farm where a lady cooked an amazing meal with wine and local brandies, all enjoyed on her porch. Very traditional food made by a local.
Working with the dogs was my favourite part of the trip. I loved meeting all the
different dogs and getting to know their different personalities. They are such
great workers and I miss them now I am back home. (more)Ali Barned
The dogs are just incredible... athletic, fascinating to watch, and beautiful. Our guide Laird was fantastic as were all the other people at the ranch... I had a fabulous time. Pushed my limits... this has been 'one' of the best vacations I have been on. (more)Helen Weir
Fantastic. I have always wanted to try sledding and finally did. Now I just need to convince my other half to go again next winter!
Booked a one week package of hiking, mountain biking, canyoning and sea and lake kayaking for two adults and two children (10 and 12 year old boys). We all loved it. (more)Martin Short
Excellent!!!! One of the best!! Hotels staff fab and the tour guides were fantastic too. (more)Karren Probyn
Totally wonderful. Would definitely do another vacation again with this op in Turkey....Organisation behind the scenes exemplary - Julie was always at hand on the end of emails answering our questions promptly. (more)Sue Hodnett
When we went on the Catamaran.
There is one guide per group and the group can be very small, even one person sometimes. Be prepared for bad wifi and no phone service and last minute itinerary changes.
Our vacation was local and helpful for small businesses.
I enjoyed my vacation very much and would recommend this for small group travel. (more)Natalie Jacob
One of the most memorable parts of my trip was a snorkelling excursion along the Golfo di Orosei. Along the way, as we sailed past all the stunning beaches and caves, Cinzia gave us plenty of information about the geography and nature along the coast, but all in a very humorous and fun way. Once in the crystal clear water we were lucky enough to see a couple of weird and wonderful creatures. (more)Christine Morton
Brilliant scenery, great underwater wildlife and quiet roads. Cala Garone is absolutely idyllic in October. (more)Ann Windle
The diving was very flexible and went at our pace. I'd go back again - I'm hoping to finish some more advanced diving courses there.
Views from the mountains across to the Adriatic coast, walking in the Una River National Park in Bosnia, drinking Turkish coffee made on a small fire in the mountains, swimming in the icy clear green water of a small river and the majestic beauty of the Plitvice Lakes.
Make sure you have strong supportive footwear-as advised on booking, a lightweight day sac and lightweight kagoule
We spent 3 nights staying in rooms in the homes of local... (more)Jenny Lunn
Hot Spring hunt and heritage tour plus horse riding
The glacier walk, the visits to the waterfalls and Vik Bay.
If you have children be aware that many of the starts are at 8 or 8.30 in the am. Particularly because we had a very early flight from Bristol, our teenage children found the early starts a bit much over the week
I feel that they benefited local cafes and provided employment. Overall I think Iceland is struggling to cope with... (more)Vicki Harris
Kayaking in beautiful landscapes with clear blue seas (more)Jules Dawkins
The most memorable or exciting part of your vacation? Kayaking from Lopud to Sunj on day three of the vacation, the wind got up a bit and it was exciting riding through the waves. (more)Roddy MacLeod
I loved almost everything! We had booked the sea-kayaking trip and were upgraded to the catamaran sailing trip for 5 of the 7 days, which was fantastic! I enjoyed seeing the different islands while sailing, biking and kayaking, as well as all the meals the guides organised for us at local people's houses. (more)Astryd Letrud
The activity part was pretty well done with accommodation for those of us needing a slower pace, or a ride back. (more)Louis Cohen
excellent, great guides and great variety - I was never bored, but had some down time too, which I wanted. (more)Mary Murphy
As a single mum looking for activity and adventure for my 12 year old son, it was the perfect choice. The guides, Sergio and Monica, were second to none and nothing was too much trouble for them. They really seem to enjoy their job and are both extremely knowledgable. (more)Tracey Davies
Hmm, all of it, we had such a great time I couldn't really pick any one thing over the rest
Yes to all three.
One of the best experiences ever, could not recommend this vacation enough (more)Paul Ashby
We kayaked on our second day, and I felt I hadn't had so much fun for years. We also really enjoyed sleeping out under the stars, after helping Vedat to set up camp and prepare a meal.
The most memorable part was the canyoning part, definitely. Followed by a night by the river, with BBQ and nice chats. To wake up and enjoy a demanding, yet fun, rafting day. (more)Laurent Dorey
It was a good vacation with an insight into a different world which was the highlight of it for us (more)Gabriella Guglielminotti
My daughter's sheer delight in "her" camel (called Yellow) & my son's face as we set off on the camels on the 1st day, his 13th birthday. My children playing blind mans bluff with the younger 3 Fayous, watching them all wrestling in a heap on the floor. (more)Kirk Hutton
While we only stayed with the family properly for one night, they were equally warm, inviting, embracing and served up a fantastic couscous...My husband and I truly enjoyed the silence and peacefulness of the 5-day journey. I like to sum it up by likening it to a 5-day interior camping trip, with a camel instead of a canoe. We were in Morocco for a whole month, and this was definitely our favourite part. It is definitely not for everyone, but it was perfect for us!
It surpassed our expectations. The best parts were Cycling through villages, with all the children running out to greet us, and giving us "high 5's"as we passed through - Standing on top of the 2nd highest mountain in South India, having just trekked to the top. Staying for the night on a rice boat... (more)janice eastman
Brilliant! The first 10 days are very intensive - cycling and walking with lots of new experiences along the way. The last few gave us plenty of time to wind down and relax so that we have arrived home feeling completely refreshed. (more)Annette Keith
The diversity in this two week training camp was really something. From Kayaking in +30c to staying in a tent with -4c. And the intensity of the cycling. 100 km up and down. But then always guides with loads of bananas, beer and kindness. (more)Tomas Ekberg
