There were several highlights. The Golden Temple at Amritsar, Jairpur's Amber Fort & Palace, the backwaters of Kerala and our homestay in the Nilgiri Hills.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks... The knowledge and hospitality of the tour leaders, Suraj and Ravindra, made this a particularly memorable trip - by the end, we really felt more like we were with friends than on a 'tour'.

The desert camp and seeing the turtles were amazing...A fantastic family adventure with great contrasts.

The highlights were coming across a flock of Sri Lanka Blue Magpies feeding noisily in the Sinharaja Rain Forest and seeing the nesting Painted Storks with chicks in Yala National Park.

We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candle light, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting.

The vacation was full of memorable experiences from our first day when we met our fantastic driver/guide, Kapila. He seemed to really enjoy sharing his knowledge of the history, culture, flora and fauna of Sri Lanka. He was also really good fun and so caring about our enjoyment and welfare - he became a real friend and we will keep in touch.

Jerash was incredible as was the site of the Baptism of Christ. The countryside of Jordan an all its aspects.

The accommodation was the most luxurious, most welcoming, most helpful place we have ever stayed in; and the walks through the tea estate with idyllic views of the reservoir and surrounding hills, both relaxing and inspiring.

Incredible, awesome. Quite simply the most fantastic vacation of our lives. It was everything and so much more than we had hoped.

Most memorable were going inside the Great Pyramid, sailing down (up) the Nile in the Dahabiya, Hadeel, instead of the big diesel monsters they have for most tourists, El Tahrir square and the bazaar. The staff on the Hadeel were fabulous.

Sri Lanka is teeming with animals and bird life and our highlight was the trip to the national park, where we saw wild elephants bathing, saw spotted deer, as well as many rare and exotic birds.

There were many memorable moments. Too few to fully list out! One destination was the Gomantong Birdnest Caves. The main cave tests all your senses. Certainly a location for the next Indiana Jones film, not for flip-flop wearing tourists!

I would rate this as one of the best vacations I've taken. The sights were beautiful, the people wonderful and everything went as planned.

Each part was equally memorable as they offered a unique experience from other elements of the vacation. It benefited local people in that tourism is a form of job creation, whether for a hotelier, chef, waiter, tour guide, driver etc and must benefit local economies.

Every step of the trip went very smoothly and having English speaking guides and drivers made the whole experience very personal. Often the local guides enriched our experiences as they espoused more than mere information, passionately imparting their knowledge and opinions.

Brilliant vacation that I would totally recommend to other families looking for memorable adventures spanning elephants, snorkelling, river floating, boat rides, temples, spicy food and beautiful countryside and beaches.

Petra was much bigger than expected, the camel ride easier, and the scenery more spectacular than we imagined... It was a great way to see a lot of Jordan quickly - a charming country with open, friendly residents.

Most memorable? Probably Iguacu. Absolutely amazing falls and the hotel was lovely. However all the venues were excellent.

The most memorable part was definitely the look of pure joy on my wife's face when taking a bath with an elephant at the Millenium Foundation...

It was a five-star experience for both of us, no doubt of it: no disappointments, and a programme which gave us everything we were looking and hoping for...What we did seemed to us so much richer an experience, so much more rewarding, than we could have got from a standard package of 'highlights'.
