I felt this vacation was a win-win way of supporting African people. We got to see one of the most beautiful countries on earth and gained an insight into Kenyan culture, the local people gained employment and an incentive to protect the game life.

The trip surpassed our expectations tenfold. In our wildest dreams we couldn't contemplate or imagine the experience we would or could hope to achieve on this trip. It was amazing from beginning to end.

The wildlife, the stunning location of our accommodation was truly memorable... A truly unique experience. Great service pre-booking. Great service "on the ground" - including all transfers etc. Thank you!

I look back and smile about the whole trip, it was all so memorable! If I had to pick just one place, it would have to be Msambweni House. The staff and setting were just so amazing.

Everywhere we looked there were birds: on the water's edge, in the air, perched in trees. Crocodiles slipped into the water and there were pods of hippos, plus giraffes, elephants, buffalo and impala.

Seeing animals in the wild, meeting other travelers, relaxing in amazing locations were the most memorable part...We enjoyed every part of it a lot!

Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! Probably joint first with a long trip to Belize.

Most memorable part? Perhaps it’s the first time we saw a lion or the family of cheetah... but then it could as easily be meeting and chatting with our Maasai hosts...

The whole of our week in Rwanda was extraordinary and memorable... and we lost our hearts to this small and extremely beautiful country. We had two days gorilla tracking which were wonderful - not least because of the great organisation and knowledge of the local guides and trackers.

It was the most comfortable camping I have ever experienced. The tents were bigger than our bedroom, the food was incredible and the hot, private in-tent camp shower so refreshing. But we were truly out in the wild and could hear baboons near our camp and find elephant dung behind the tents.

We had a wonderful time at Mfuwe Lodge in South Luangwa but the highlight of our week was going back to Chingola on the Copperbelt where we had taught for 3 years in the early 70's.

The lodge is a fantastic place to stay in a stunning setting. The standard of accommodation is very high, with simple but good quality furnishings, and the set-up for families in two-storey rooms works very well.

The most memorable parts (sorry, I cannot limit it to one), were watching a leopard stalk and make a kill, seeing aardwolf and honey badger for the first time - this after countless safaris spanning over 40 years (!!)

The most exciting was the gorge swing & white river rafting in Victoria Falls as well as the night game drives following lions stalking prey in the Okavango.

It was our first visit to Africa. I can now understand why so many people have a love affair with Africa! It is impossible vast and breathtaking. The people were friendly and welcoming. It's a surprising land of contrasts.

The most exciting part was being totally alone (or feeling like it) in the vast expanse of the Maasai Mara's rolling plains.
