The most memorable parts were: the people, the wildlife in Sabah (esp. Kinabantangan (elephants/proboscis monkeys/birds etc etc) and Danum Valley (orang utan/gibbons etc)...the food, and so many more.

The Perhentian Islands are breathtakingly lovely and so relaxing; the homestay was absolutely charming and we ate like royalty.

We swam with sea turtles, sharks, rays and the most amazing range of tropical fish. At Banding Island we also saw a rare Asian elephant in the wild. But the whole vacation was great - a huge range of sights and experiences crammed into a very short time.

We had some amazing experiences. The most memorable part of the vacation was snorkelling and trying scuba diving in the Perenthian Islands off the East coast of Malaysia. Beautiful scenery, welcoming people and a real chance to recharge the batteries and relax!
