Mekong Adventure in Laos & Cambodia
Memorable parts? Every day was something different, we walked through jungle; rode elephants; explored caves and sailed in wooden boats, sometimes we used a wooden plank, sometimes we were knee deep in the river! We saw amazing temples and wooden huts that the locals lived in, we saw how people lived and how they dried peppers in their satellite dishes! There were sad parts too, understanding the legacy of the Vietnam war, unexploded bombs everywhere and maimed people. However, the people... (more)Colin Smith

Isle of Mull and west coast of Scotland cruise
Memorable parts? The whole of our vacation was wonderful. The crew were all great, friendly and so helpful. The food was delicious every meal, and plentiful too! The cruise was the best way to see some of Scotland’s beautiful scenery and wildlife. The only fault, we wished it didn't have to end! Tips? Don't forget your binoculars. Sensible shoes and a waterproof for when up on deck and the weather damp. Local benefits? I am not sure about these things as we didn't buy any... (more)julie Clease

Tailor made Rajasthan tour, India
Memorable parts? History and culture. I enjoyed the amazing hotels we stayed in that were beautiful locations and historical. Tips? Due to distance between locations, ensure there are two nights at every hotel. There is significant time spent driving (in a car) between each location. If flying from Delhi during December / January be aware of fog delaying / cancelling flights. Local benefits? We visited local communities (e.g. Bishnoi, Samode) but not sure how it benefitted... Fabulous break. I would definitely have given it 4 stars, were it not for the points mentioned in number 2 (around things being closed in Mijet and Sipan being a bit underwhelming!). The operator however was truly fabulous. Trekking holiday in Cuba
Memorable parts? Certainly interesting was the venture to see Castro's headquarters in Alta Naranjo. Tips? Ask cost of tour before accepting offered tours. The city tour of Holquin, was more expensive than I would have thought. It was not clear to me when we were dropped off, that it was/ was not included in our payments. Also, I definitely think the trek should be condensed into 2 days in the park and not 3. When we were there we met a large UK group who did it in 2 days, and... (more)Christina Parsons

Ecuador vacation, Quito & the Galapagos
Memorable parts? Swimming with sea-lions in the Galapagos. Tips? Don't delay! There wasn't anything I could fault. Local benefits? Yes - local guides were used in each city and also for the boat crew. The boat was classified as an eco-catamaran. Overall rating? Excellent. Very sad to have had to leave. (more)Sarah Hext

Gorilla Safari & the Masai Mara
Every day was fabulous always something different... traveling with like minded people was also a good thing. (more)Valerie Koppi
Gorillas!!!!!. Interacting with them was the most exceptional experience elf my life and the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had. Its is without comparison. The Masai Mara was amazing, will decamping was a buzz and White water rafting on the Nile was an amazing experience but being close to the African people(especially the happy kids) and not isolated in 5 star resorts made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. (more)Mark Asquith
It was excellent. I would go again tomorrow... it was such a fabulous trip from the start in Kigali to the end in Nairobi. Seeing the gorillas was obviously so special and memorable and the rafting in jinja was an unexpected highlight.
