It was a great trip and we really enjoyed it. Machu Picchu was beautiful.....especially when the cloud lifted!!!

Machu Picchu and the Inca trail simply amazing... The site itself was breathtaking and our guide’s local knowledge and her native ancestry gave us extra insight into the people who lived there.

The combination of the magnificant scenery plus the amazing Inca ruins made it especially memorable.

The best moments were the tree frogs, manu poison frog and the rainbow boa! I really enjoyed the construction of the bird hides and biogarden even though sometimes it was really hard work! Pancakes for breakfast were great!

Standing at the Sun's Gate looking down on Machu Picchu for the first time was awesome! Sitting on a beach having a young sea lion coming up to me and rub his whiskers against my leg was touching.

Swimming in the Amazon, learning about the jungle and meeting a Shaman, Salsa dancing in Cusco, staying with a local family in Armanti and folk dancing to traditional music, the colours, textiles and crafts, music, food and drink

Excellent! Doing the Inca Trail was a spiritual experience. Our guide, Wilo went out of his way to point out orchids, great photography spots and had fantastic knowledge of the history of the area.

Overall the vacation was magnificent. We hiked the Inca Trail (with a private group) and it was certainly the highlight of our 16 days in Peru.

The most exciting part of my vacation was hiking through the Peruvian jungle and feeling like you were discovering the Incan ruins yourself.

The vacation was superb from start to finish and far exceeded our expectations. The expected highlights of Macchu Picchu etc lived up to expectations with the remaining destinations visited exceeding them (rainforest... colca canyon and sacred valley).

The most lasting memory will probably be our stay on Amantani Island on Lake TitiKaka. We stayed with a family without water and electricity and it was both enjoyable as well as being an eye opener.

A fantastic experience to see some wonderful sights. We learned so much and everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Uyuni Salt Flats as it was amazing and of course Machu Pichu... despite climbing and barely seeing it from the Sun Gate, the clouds eventually lifted. I also loved the town of Cuzco and Punta Sal in Peru.

The scenery was fantastic and some great days walking/climbing. The optional climb of Diablo Mudo towards the end was tougher than expected but very rewarding - don't miss it!

Really enjoyable, very well organised, much higher standard of transport, guiding and food than I had expected.
