There were many highlights, but the most vivid memory is of arriving at the Spice Plantation after a tough ride up the mountains through monsoon rain.

The highlight was the scenery, the lack of signs of any kind of civilisation as far as could be seen, the changing weather, being out in the weather and alive to it all the time.

Learning how to track animals, brew pine needle tea, make rope out of bark, start a fire in the rain and read weather patterns were the most memorable parts.

Practically all of it however the most exciting part was when we went kayaking on higher waterfalls. We give it a high rate since this was the best vacation we have had, kids loved it as well and we consider re doing it, maybe in a different season.
