We saw so much of Scotland both on trains and on foot. The scenery is spectacular and the walking is demanding enough to be satisfactory but not too exhausting.

I loved it! It helped the environment and taught you a lot about the area and animals around you. We were kept entertained and had a really fun time - I will always remember this vacation.

Although not the cheapest of trips you are getting a very knowledgeable and experienced guide who has worked in various different countries on different dolphin projects.

The hospitality shown by the hosts Rebecca and Andy, who welcome you warmly into their home were the most memorable part. The meals were fabulous and the packed lunches the best yet. Excellent, we will be recommending it to friends.

The highlight was the scenery, the lack of signs of any kind of civilisation as far as could be seen, the changing weather, being out in the weather and alive to it all the time.

Everything about this trip was great, but memories of the magnificent mountain scenery I'm sure will stay with me forever.

The highlight was seeing scotland for the first time, learning new skills, enjoying the company. The satisfaction of getting to the top of 2 munros.

Most memorable was learning to self-arrest with an ice-axe - sliding head first and face down on an icy slope!

B&B was excellent with very comfortable accommodation, great food, wonderful Highland stoneware crockery (a personal favourite) and fantastic facilities.

The accommodations ranged from excellent with charm and lovely people to absolutely fine... But the best of the best was our guide, Ian, absolutely top notch. He concocted for us some great mini adventures. Perfect.

Everything that can be recycled or reused is, but yet at the same time this doesn’t effect the quality of the service offered and I feel this certainly adds to the whole experience and ambience of the lodge.

The most memorable part of the vacation was during dolphin-watching, when a baby dolphin with it’s' mother, dived in and out of the water, around both sides of our boat. They swam very close to us. Sarah, who steered the boat, knew the sea area near Cromarty and the Black Isle extremely well. She gave us an informative and exhilarating boat journey.

The setting of the cottage itself and views from the hot tub were most memorable. We were in Rose, the smaller cottage, and the views were beautiful...The whole family, including boys of 10 and 5, loved it. Being on a croft with the animals made it extra special.

The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.

Most memorable? Discovering new sites, talking with local people and having a wonderful meal for my birthday at the hotel!
