My vacation was in the Outer Hebrides a wonderful, awe inspiring and educational 7 days. The scenery was magnificent but one the most memorable experience for me was sharing it with five others that were just as impressed with both the location and history of the area as I was.

Completely memorable. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I did not want to leave. The scenery, food (especially the ice cream on Lopud), people, walks, weather, and local activities that crop up make this trip truly worth the effort of booking.

The beauty of the island, the hot sunshine, the incredible scenery, the balmy evenings drinking nightcaps by the sea, eating ice creams on the beach, the plentiful opportunities for swimming, the great company, the entertaining guides, the fun kayaking in crystal clear turquoise waters, the relaxation time - it was all wonderful!

9 out of 10. An unprecedented success, with one of the nicest local family run businesses out there. The family were incredibly accommodating and were always helping us

This was a fantastic week. The other people were just brilliant, as were the guides. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacation, and I can't wait until next year to go again.

Brilliant. We wanted to be challenged and we were, but there was nothing beyond our capabilities. We enjoyed being part of a group, it was especially good for the children.

The guide had 14 years experience as a kayak guide and knew the best places, away from the crowds. On the last day, the guide took me to a cave and lagoon he had only recently discovered.

Most memorable were the scenery when arriving at Kolocep Island, swimming in the Blue Cave and Dubrovnik Old Town.

Dusk, every night would be the most memorable tucking into a well-deserved evening meal, with aching arms and mildly sunburnt hands, overlooking the sea as surrounding lush-green islands disappear with the sun.

Practically all of it however the most exciting part was when we went kayaking on higher waterfalls. We give it a high rate since this was the best vacation we have had, kids loved it as well and we consider re doing it, maybe in a different season.

The best part? Having part of the Adriatic all to ourselves as we paddled around the shoreline and between islands with only ourselves and the beautiful, calm, aquamarine sea to keep us company.

Far too many to mention, but I'll have a go: sleeping on deserted beaches, a school of dolphins passing just in front of our kayak, seeing a shark while snorkelling, the sound of two very large komodo dragons running through the undergrowth in our direction, great food and an outstanding local guide.

Close up humpbacks, hot tub in the woods, and float plane flight to the glaciers was the most exciting part.

"Limestone cliffs familiar from James Bond movies rise vertically out of turquoise waters in Phang Nga Bay, 30 minutes in a long tail boat from Phuket in Thailand. Judging the tides with the help of legendary Hawaiian kayak guide John Gray and local guide Pong a former fisherman from the local village who John recruited and trained we paddle towards the caves at the cliff base. Following John we paddle slowly into one of the caves, which quickly darken. Giant stalactites hang from the roof, and Pong picks out a colony of bats with a flashlight. The roof of the cave lowers, and we lie flat on our backs on the kayaks gently holding the rocks and pulling ourselves through until we emerge blinking into a spectacular Hong."

"My vacation was in the Outer Hebrides a wonderful, awe inspiring and educational 7 days. The scenery was magnificent but one the most memorable experience for me was sharing it with five others that were just as impressed with both the location and history of the area as I was. We had an excellent guide in Cailhean Macleod his knowledge and personal experience added to the vacation experience. His passion for the Outer Hebrides was infectious; he knew the area so well that if tides or wind were against us there was always an alternative location that he could take us to. The white sand beaches, the rugged wind swept hills and views from the top as we climbed to the 680m summits, the standing stones of Callanish (2900BC)."
