Biking in the beautiful country of Spain with my husband and good friends was the most memorable part. It was a wonderful experience, great trails, food and memories to last a lifetime. I am planning my next trip now!

The Natural park of Aiguamolls where we spotted dozen of breeding storks was the most exciting part...Most wonderful.

We loved the flexibility of this trip - Alan and Vivian were happy to tailor the trip to our needs and always ready to offer advice or ideas. The trip they planned allowed us to see Catalonia and stay in some fantastic places without the hassle of sorting everything out ourselves.

There is so much to remember about this vacation; we really enjoyed the mixed scenery of forest, countryside and coastal, we loved being able to have an active vacation that the whole family (children & adults) enjoyed, the hospitality we received at Casa Dos Torres was excellent, and it was exciting discovering gorgeous tiny old Spanish villages, packed with charm and very yummy tapas.

The pre dinner drinks and craic (good conversation) and the dinners cooked by Debbie and Mark were always something to look forward especially when the legs were tiring and the backside a little sore!

Successfully navigating our way in and out of beautiful little towns being enthusiastically helped with directions and suggestions for great things to see and do by locals even with our absolute lack of French.

Cycling at our own pace through stunning, varied countryside and finding places

Hmmm, so many good bits. Seeing such diverse parts of the country with such different landscapes - all within 140 miles; having the route to ourselves most of the time; meeting the challenge of a three-day cycle with quite a lot of big hills; meeting lovely people; great B&Bs etc.

Really wonderful memories, I shall recommend it to our friends. The organisation
by of the tour operator and Tomi in Dubrovnik was - it's true - in every point
excellent.

This was a moderately strenuous cycling trip for a family of 4, and we had great fun finding great places to eat, in the off-season around New Year's...Excellent choices of towns to visit, routes, and accommodations.

We had the most fabulous weather. The first place we stayed, Quinta dos Valedos, was a really great start to the vacation, as Marie-Jose and Sergei are French Portuguese, and introduced us to many culinary specialities of the region, including carob and arbutus berry schnapps!

The most memorable part of the vacation was the environment of Andalucia itself. The main thing that contributed to the success of the trip was the group leader, Shaun Allan, who I cannot recommend highly enough.

Most memorable was cycling up Mont Ventoux. Wow! Its tough, very tough, but worth the effort. Particularly nice to have a really fabulous hotel at the bottom to relax afterwards.

Most memorable were the great cycling and the choice of chateaux, restaurants, wine-tasting, etc we had in very good cycling weather. Good that cycling on French roads turned out to be easy, although there were not always cycle paths.

I think the most exciting part of the trip was when we were biking to Pisa and got our first glimpse of the leaning tower. It was so surreal!
