Most memorable was our Shaman host at the jungle homestay. He glided around, playfully and skilfully making leaf hats etc and happily sharing with us his knowledge and Chechan philosophy. A wise man and free spirit in a beautiful place. (more)The most memorable part was to meet the friendly Burmese people in the street and talk with them. Shwedagon pagoda and Inle lake were highlights as well.

I enjoyed so many things about my vacation, I had a truly fantastic time but if I had to choose I would say the hill-tribe trek, that was a great experience for many reasons, I especially loved seeing the tribes & the breath-taking landscape it was unbelievable I thought, a special experience. The visit to Comandancia De Plata was absolutely fascinating, seeing where the Revolution began and how they lived whilst fighting Batista. I also loved all the outdoor swimming we got to do - in the Caribbean near the Bay of Pigs, in cave pools & rivers in Topes De Collantes, all so refreshing. (more)
The whole trip was memorable, but I particularly enjoyed the 4 days we spent in Luang Prabang. At a relaxed pace we visited ancient buddhist temples, watched the early morning ritual of alms giving, conversed with the monks, met the locals at the markets... (more)
Hard to judge as it was all so brilliant, but probably the felucca trip and diving in Dahab were the most memorable. The sights are amazing and the people friendly, who could ask for more on a fab vacation! (more)
The most memorable parts were: the people, the wildlife in Sabah (esp. Kinabantangan (elephants/proboscis monkeys/birds etc etc) and Danum Valley (orang utan/gibbons etc)...the food, and so many more.

The most memorable part of the vacation was getting a bit of an insight into the people and culture of everyday Japan by traveling on local trains and buses and staying in local inns in rural areas rather than faceless hotels. (more)
Most memorable? Seeing the baby turtles in Tortuguero National Park... I had a wonderful experience with a very well trained, and experienced, guide. The communication was excellent.

Always happy when the flight is over, but usually apprehensive about tackling the language barriers and over-zealous taxi drivers I was more than happy to be greeted with a smile by an Exodus representative.
