The entire experience was an absolute blast. The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travelers.... If you are after a different kind of vacation where you can both relax and have a few adventures this is it.

Magnificent! We had a wonderful time in Lubrin. John was an excellent host - informative and very attentive. The accommodation was outstanding value for money. The gardens and pool were a real delight. We will definitely return.
(more)We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers. (more)
The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out. (more)

The most memorable part was stopping for lunch on top of hills with amazing views and the homegrown oranges... Top, really enjoyed, excellent value, very well organised, great fun and wonderful people. Also loved accommodation.

Really wonderful! It exceeded my expectations. Steve could not have been more helpful in coordinating and supporting us in this vacation. We loved the places we stayed, enjoyed the people and small towns. The food was excellent. The hikes we great. I felt like we really got to see the country and small communities. (more)
We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.

My vacation was in the Outer Hebrides a wonderful, awe inspiring and educational 7 days. The scenery was magnificent but one the most memorable experience for me was sharing it with five others that were just as impressed with both the location and history of the area as I was. (more)

Excellent. There is something quite magical about the site. Not sure if it is the caravans, the scenery, or Perry and Collene. Either way, we came away refreshed, and for the first time ever, we are really considering going back rather than continually finding new places to visit. (more)This really was the best vacation we have ever had, we have struggled in the past to find somewhere that everyone enjoys which is difficult with young active children, but this accommodation and Ithaca really did mean we relaxed and enjoyed time with them whilst they also had a great time. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely go back.

Perfect - the best week's vacation we've ever had. The accommodation was very comfortable, the surroundings were idyllic, and the views breathtaking. Very peaceful and relaxing, with lovely outside eating areas, a hammock and a pool. (more)
All of our stay was wonderful although if I had to select some highlights I would say that the husky tour, seeing the Northern Lights and meeting Santa in his cottage stood out .
