This tour was memorable for all of the right reasons. If the aim of the company is to ensure guests 'collect memories not things' then they certainly delivered. The ethereal scenery sets the tone for the tour, each day going with the flow of nature and it's wildlife. The anticipation of finding tracks or wildlife sightings is all part of the fun. The husky dog sledging day - it was wonderful - you get your own set of huskies & sledge with a fur rug. Remember your ski goggles thou' - we had a lot of snow & you can go quite fast (particularly if light) - afterwards hot chocolate & homemade cake in a tippee with roaring fire! Fab. The stay at the Tree Hotel was brilliant. The accommodation is great, the food delicious and the people wonderful. The whole experience was great, but probably the dog sledding outing was the stand-out element. (more)Carole Thomas
It was very early in the winter season when I went, so there weren't many other guests. There also wasn't enough snow to do some of the activities, but the staff
were really friendly and took excellent care of me. They organised alternative activities and even took me around the husky kennels to meet the dogs and
