The game drives. Our whole point in going to Africa was seeing wildlife close up, and it was abundant. Both the Porini Camps on their private conservancies, and the Masai Mara National Preserve offered spectacular game viewing. We couldn't have asked for more.

Biking in the beautiful country of Spain with my husband and good friends was the most memorable part. It was a wonderful experience, great trails, food and memories to last a lifetime. I am planning my next trip now! (more)

Climbing up to the Tiger's Nest on our last full day in Bhutan WAS pretty great - but I think my prize goes to seeing big pink orchids growing on the side of the road - and having the leisure to go photograph them, thanks to our wonderful driver. (more)

We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candle light, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting. (more)

We have many fond memories from our short but action packed six day break in Andalucia, Spain. We couldn't have asked for a better base than this hotel, an impressive building, sympathetically modernised whilst still retaining its Spanish Farmhouse roots. (more)
Most memorable? Following the leopard going through the thick reeds of the dried riverbed... Being in the very middle of the 400 buffalos herd moving to another grazing field... Two gracious cheetah males crossing the tar road...

Fantastic scenery in the Sierra Altana - even though there was a fair bit of cloud and rain! The people we met and stayed with were, without exception wonderfully helpful and welcoming! Joaquime in Caossa was an absolute star! (more)
The most memorable part of the vacation was the wildlife - birds, dolphins, turtles, snakes, Jesus lizard...Ecuador is incredibly diverse, people genuinely interested, especially when "the only Gringo on the Bus!" and the operator is very efficient.

Really wonderful! It exceeded my expectations. Steve could not have been more helpful in coordinating and supporting us in this vacation. We loved the places we stayed, enjoyed the people and small towns. The food was excellent. The hikes we great. I felt like we really got to see the country and small communities. (more)
The pre dinner drinks and craic (good conversation) and the dinners cooked by Debbie and Mark were always something to look forward especially when the legs were tiring and the backside a little sore! (more)
On leaving our room at Serendip which led out straight onto the front veranda... we saw that the garden was full of fireflies. We were then led to our table out the back by the plunge pool where we would be eating dinner. The manager had arranged and lit dozens of tea lights around the garden. Priceless.

The smile of the Sri Lankan people was uplifting as was luxuriating in a herbal bath overlooking the Sinharaja Rainforest with lightening flashing on the horizon. Also being accompanied by two guides during our trip who were so enthusiastic, generous hearted and committed to making our vacation everything we had hoped for. (more)
The most memorable parts were the ride on an elephant and seeing the Himalayas for the first time. Not to mention over three hundred bird species that we saw and the fabulous Taj mahal. (more)
The scenery is breathtaking, the people wonderful and the rafting was so good. Chitwan was a totally different world and we felt very pampered and spoilt.

We were blessed with consistently clear, sunny almost 80-degree weather. And the small towns where we stayed overnight were charming and still very rural, but with nice accommodations and pubs. We have never been on a walking vacation of this duration, and it's by far the best form of locomotion. (more)We invite every traveler who books a vacation via us to send in a review.
