(more)Everywhere we looked there were birds: on the water's edge, in the air, perched in trees. Crocodiles slipped into the water and there were pods of hippos, plus giraffes, elephants, buffalo and impala.
(more)It was the most comfortable camping I have ever experienced. The tents were bigger than our bedroom, the food was incredible and the hot, private in-tent camp shower so refreshing. But we were truly out in the wild and could hear baboons near our camp and find elephant dung behind the tents. (more)It was our first visit to Africa. I can now understand why so many people have a love affair with Africa! It is impossible vast and breathtaking. The people were friendly and welcoming. It's a surprising land of contrasts. (more)Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars!
