I am reborn! Simply the best vacation I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
Loved each second of it. 10/10. (more)Sarah Marsden
My vacation was the best experience of my life, so much so I wasn't ready to leave and got very upset when the time came to leave. I fell in love my elephant Campion and Boonma and his family welcomed me with open arms. Such good hearted people. The experience with them added to my amazing experience and I would recommend anyone try this experience. I would give this experience 10 out of 10 there was nothing I feel could of been better except for me booking longer! (more)Debbie Field
Thoroughly enjoyed - The baby elephant playing-a real privilege to see! (more)Amanda Patrick
Wonderful. Traveling in a small group as a family with such a dedicated guide allowed us to see more & interact more. We were able to eat at small road side cafes and at the Phetchaburi night market, and wander around the Sangklaburi floating houses (more)Simon Daniels
We all have different highlights, but generally agree that the day we had a boat trip down the Maekok river, followed by an elephant ride where we got to ride the elephants like a mahout and then spent a night in an Akha village, was our most memorable day. (more)Taru Jones
Most memorable was walking in the rainforest following local guide in his shower cap and Wellingtons and meeting the jungle dwelling Sakai, and swimming in pool at top of huge and remote waterfall. (more)Jane Giles
I went to the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Thailand, this was a fantastic project helping animals who had been mostly kept as pets. Itís hard to say what was the most memorable part of this vacation as there was so much variety and different experiences, itís difficult to decide what was the best part of it.
I had so many fantastic experiences, and the centre itself was in an idyllic area, on the grounds of a Buddhist temple. One highlight was spotting wild elephants in a nearby national park, after dark. (more)Olly Carney
Thailand is such a big country and we feel that this vacation allowed us to experience quite a lot of it. We travelled with our two children (11,14) who absolutely loved the vacation and were so well looked by the Thai people. (more)Kirstie Fraser
Amazing vacation. Such a great experience filled with memories that are sure to last a lifetime! (more)Sumi Mazzarolo
We had the most amazing vacation and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the "local" experiences we had, from giving alms to the monks to riding through rice fields on bikes. We really enjoyed meeting real Thai people and seeing different sides to Thailand. (more)Rayner McKenzie
Helping at the elephant hospital and working one on one with Nam Fon
To book directly through the sanctuary's website. I could have saved myself $700 if I had done this. And as I now am in debt on my credit card from this trip, I wish I knew to book through the sanctuary.
Yes absolutely. I have also continued my work here in the US by helping to fund raise for the sanctuary.
10 out of 10, even though I got salmonella... (more)Haley Larson
As our first vacation in Asia it was fantastic. Our guide was so friendly and helpful we really didn't have to do anything but have a great time! (more)Alison Hatchman
10 out of 10...my favourite parts were tube riding on the river and swimming in the beautiful clear water in Koh Talu (more)Francoise Harris
The three days trekking in Nan province was certainly the most memorable part of our vacation. Highlights included the market across the street from the hotel selling a wide range of "interesting" live produce. (more)John Caswell
Arrival at Koh Tao and finding the lovely coral sand beach behind the dive school at Chalok Ban Bay.
Then, exploring the fascinating underwater environment.
Go prepared to learn, there's loads of really interesting marine ecology information to learn as part of the Environment Management Programme. There are interesting and knowledgeable people there, who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge.
Enjoy the diving, safe in the knowledge that you are diving... (more)Stephen Orwin
