I am reborn! Simply the best vacation I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
The whole experience was wonderful, particularly enjoyed the dinghy trip round the Burnt Islands reserve where we were treated with great views of the
Common Seal colony. Also enjoyed discovering another world through the microscope investigating plankton samples. (more)Andrew Swales
No light pollution and clear skies allowed for spectacular stargazing. As an added bonus we got to collect and view plankton under the microscope, a truly unique experience. (more)Catherine Egginton
Increased our awareness of the interplay and delicate balance between various species of flora and fauna - in particular, plankton. (more)Marilyn Hands
The sailing trip was amazing and the best of all was meeting Colette and Michael, there where wonderful. Colette is a great chef, breakfast, lunch and dinner was very, very good (more)Karen Wix
The most memorable parts were the stunning scenery and peaceful moorings. The wildlife especially the seals and beautiful shoals of jellyfish floating like alien creatures in a calm sea. (more)Fiona Morrison
Exciting, memorable and a wonderful experience. (more)Martin Jones
A fabulous unique opportunity to enjoy and marvel at nature in all its glory....The most outstanding part of the trip was definitely the experience of being immersed in the stunningly beautiful environment of the lochs of western Scotland. (more)David Ritchie
A really terrific week which we will always remember (along with how to tie a bowline). Two of my colleagues at work have already expressed interest! (more)Helen Newton
It was one of the best vacations I spent with my family, truly relaxing. We all feel re-energised, taken care of. (more)Sarah Ghiglino
A very enjoyable vacation particularly for the children who have not stopped talking about it yet... Taking part in the bushcraft activity and watching our grandchildren as they tried wild foods and made fire. The enthusiasm with which they approached every new challenge and the knowledge that they gained is priceless.
I loved it! It helped the environment and taught you a lot about the area and animals around you. We were kept entertained and had a really fun time - I will always remember this vacation. (more)saskia robinson
This was a wonderful experience, all of the staff have an excellent approach to
customer service. They are extremely competent in their chosen areas of expertise, they encourage you to do your best and never push you to go too
far. The group activities are skilfully tailored to meet the skills and abilities of the
individuals taking part. (more)Willie McCafferty
Excellent - the staff could not do enough to help, and as a beginner on most activities, there was enough to do. The activities were also suitable for a range of ages and abilities. (more)Jamie Stevenson
Very, very good. We had a great time as a family and met another lovely family with children of similar ages also some lovely people there for kayaking. Very sociable. Family friendly atmosphere. Fabulous staff. (more)Marian Carton-Sheehy
The most memorable part of the vacation was during dolphin-watching, when a baby dolphin with itís' mother, dived in and out of the water, around both sides of our boat. They swam very close to us. Sarah, who steered the boat, knew the sea area near Cromarty and the Black Isle extremely well. She gave us an informative and exhilarating boat journey.
This is a bespoke vacation so discuss with Deborah, the marine biologist, exactly what you would like to experience.... (more)Manjinder Jagdev
The weather was amazing but even more so were the wonderful crew - Steve, our chef - so inventive and creative. He went out of his way to make sure we all had food we loved, but also stretched our taste buds in the way he cooked and displayed the dishes. Iain our skipper made sure all needs were catered for. For example I made an off-the- cuff remark about another hook in my cabin. When I came back from my walk there it was! Another passenger had difficulty walking- he took... (more)Etta Geras
I really enjoyed the surfing under really bad weather conditions, so much fun!
You don't have much of a phone signal (though you can get your emails through Wi Fi) so it's very relaxing and you get to sleep loads too
I guess we contributed financially
Fantastic balance between activities and relaxing time (more)Sol Arigos
Clambering on steep rock ledges during coasteering and exploring caves sea
Take a sense of adventure, layers. Reading material for the evenings..
Great! (more)Kavitha Ravikumar
It was truly amazing and we will definitely be going again....The outdoor activities team were very knowledgeable about the area so we learned lots about the history of the place, and the impact of their work. They were also great at educating the children (and adults) about nature and doing things naturally which we have carried with us.
Very enjoyable and offered both something for adults and children. Although you were with a group for activities you could still do your own thing in the evening which meant that it still felt like an independent vacation. (more)Matthew Hawkins
We had a great guide for the week - Simon. Also Ghyll scrambling and rock climbing with the whole family (children from 4 to 19) was special...Great fun. (more)Michele Oliver
