(more)Simply sitting back, enjoying the peace and tranquillity was the most memorable...We genuinely think we had very little impact on the environment. We spent money in local shops - although the nearby Waitrose was a temptation! (more)We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers. (more)A particular highlight was the welcome we received from Carrie and Colin. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, including maps, guide books and a lift to and from Fowey in the evening.
(more)We had a really great vacation. Definitely recommended. Also very baby friendly - my daughter loved the swings and all the toys provided... Beautiful walks along the Pembrokeshire coast where we saw lots of wildlife including choughs, peregrine falcons and dolphins. (more)
Really enjoyed exploring this area of Britain, which I have never really explored before. Particularly liked Arundel Castle, and as for the breakfasts they were amazing. (more)The setting of the tipis and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and we had so much space all around. (more)The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.
