The team were fantastic, helpful, professional, considerate, and made everything as comfortable as possible, they were brilliant.

I can still see the breathtaking views on our trek round the Kathmandu valley that were constantly changing. The highlights were the walks through the Rodopi Mountains: wonderful scenery and lots of very interesting flora and fauna and the hospitality we received in the guesthouses.

Everything that can be recycled or reused is, but yet at the same time this doesnt effect the quality of the service offered and I feel this certainly adds to the whole experience and ambience of the lodge.

Most memorable was tartiflette eaten by candlelight (cooked by the concert pianist and his wife who run the refuge) and the sound of the river in its rocky bed as we fell asleep.
