It's time for coffee and cake...
A long time ago at Responsible Travel we came across one of the most important revelations; you can never have too much cake! Luckily, many of our friends who took time away from their daily grind wanted a slice of the action (sorry, couldn't help myself).

The day was a lot of fun. Our Responsible Travel team pulled out all the stops in cake creation, Dylan from the World Cetacean Alliance guided visitors through a virtual reality kayaking adventure, and everybody who joined us had their travel questions answered.

We were very inspired by the people we met, and heard and told some amazing travel stories.

Tim met an adventurous, recently retired couple who had begun planning their future full of travel. They had started looking at volunteering in Africa, photography and an overland trip across South America.

Tessa, our biggest cetacean fan, recommended some of her favourite vacations; swimming with whales in Tonga.

We met Amanda who was traveling through us to Uzbekistan. Alice, our Help Desk hero, gave her a great recommendation for her upcoming Peru vacation.

We met Tanya who was about to embark on a huge motorcycle expedition, traveling from Alaska to Chile. Stephen knows the USA well and gave her some useful tips on camping, as well as things to see and do while crossing the national parks of America.

A big shout out to Seamus who travelled all the way from Dublin for a coffee and travel chat. We were bowled over by his adventures and Rosy recommended just a few more; Arctic icebreaker cruises, the Rockies and a steam train vacation in Scotland.

It was a pleasure meeting some of our travelers and making some new friends.

We all look forward to seeing you at the next open day. Thank you for making it a lot of fun.

If you would like some help choosing a vacation or are inspired by some of the vacations mentioned in the coffee morning, please give Rosy and her team a call on 01273 823 700.
