1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
We did it all during this vacation and enjoyed every minute! We toured Kathmandu; went river rafting; enjoyed scenic trekking; and visited Chitwan National Park where we took an elephant safari and got to wash elephants in the river. The tour operator did a fantastic job planning an active itinerary where we had lots of time for activity but also enough time to relax. I would not change a thing!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Just let the good folks at Friendship Tours know what you want to do and they will plan a great experience for you. We had been to Nepal before so we knew what we wanted. Otherwise, Mr. Roka will make good suggestions for your trip. Mr. Roka and his team were responsive, professional and friendly. They really know their business.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All of the employees were Nepali--Ramesh, our wonderful guide; Narahayn, our amazing driver; Santosh, our river guide, etc... We only went to locally owned and operated places and drove rather than flew to our destinations. The river guides and the trekking experience were very conservation-oriented and they mentioned responsible use of the river and the trails.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
This was a wonderful, active and fun vacation. We will absolutely consider using this company again if we return to Nepal or go to one of their other destinations like Bhutan. They did an outstanding job. Good value for the money.Holiday Reviews
